Percy Walter Price was a member of the textiles faculty and served as Director of Music at North Carolina State College (later North Carolina State University) from 1918 to 1933. The Percy Walter Price Scrapbook contains clippings and photographs that document activities of North Carolina State College's musical organizations and the North Carolina Sudan Shrine Temple.

Percy Walter Price came to North Carolina State College as an instructor in the Textiles School, but his interest in music led him to volunteer his services to help develop the college band, the glee club, and an orchestra which was considered one of the best in the South.
